The Latest News from St. John's
Now that the general announcement has been made to the crowd currently in St. John's, Philip and I would like to share our news with those Huddlers who are scattered to the far corners of the world...
And that news, my friends, is that Philip and I got engaged on Thursday in Montreal!
We haven't picked a date or anything but we'll let you know. ;) The ring is 9 carots white gold, was ordered from Scotland, and has a Celtic infinity design on it. :)
EDIT: The pictures of the ring for the Aussies (P.S. Tom, it's spelled P-e-n-n-e-y :p) Mine's the smaller version.

congratulations guys!!! you put in plenty of time in the courtship, so i guess you get the huddle's permission. i remember when sue penny was just a name: sure i recall the first time we met, it was in the car! anyway, congratulations dudes, i can't wait to meet the new mr philip penny and mrs susan penny.
looks like jbird and cocobutter are next...
ps: good work on throwing some physics into the ring design phil. you should have got a mobius ring though.... for two fingers,

Congratulations to the both of ya's!!! Any predictions as to who will be the NEXT to get engaged??? I think it'll definitely be me... Of course, I'll need to get date first.... I should get on that...
So question time: Will it be an indoor wedding? Underwater? Will meat be served? Who gets to be the best man, Smithers or Captain Bob? We want DETAILS, damnit!!
The wedding will NOT be underwater, although we DID consider that option for quite awhile. Submarines are just too expensive to rent, I'm afraid. Maybe a hot air balloon wedding!
As for all other details, we haven't any. :P You'll all be the first to know once there are some, of course!
