luckily they have a red back, thats how i knew it was a redback. It was still alive, under the saran wrap, so i just threw the whole thing away, its probably still alive in the garbage somewhere

That's crazy. I would have killed it to be safe. Then I would have extracted it's venom to use against my enemies.
