It's me, Michael Janes*
[11:52:59 AM] Michael Janes: I have to drive an hour and a half to get liquor without a license, then transport it through Sharjah (the "dry" emirate), with the risk of being pulled over by the cops or run down by the Baracuda Bandits, who hit your car with theirs then threaten to call the cops on you unless you pay them off.
There are also at least 22 streets named 53rd street
[12:19:05 PM] Luke Quinton: hhaha
[12:19:08 PM] Luke Quinton: this is a lie
[12:19:35 PM] Michael Janes: Ok, well I counted four, but there's definitely more
[12:20:19 PM] Michael Janes: All the streets except the 15-20 main ones, are numbered, the numbers don't go higher than 70, and there are hundreds of them.

Folks, ya just can't make this shit up.

Brutal.
Enjoying the parallels between Janes having to go on a long journey to get alcohol, and Crosbie having to do the same deep into Queens to get Wendy's.
NY does not care for chains so much. Though, they ain't so awful far:
Map Link, Yo
Don't even get me started on MY commute to Wendy's. And they don't even sell the Big Bacon Classic, or whatever the hell it's called now.
Dubai actually sounds a lot like Queens
Still sounds better than my situation.
prove it, Jaboc! Ain't you got no chicha there, or whatever they drink?
Oh. right.
The rebels.
Well we're just not allowed to have alcohol on the premises... and they have been going through our garbage looking for beer cans.
Armed Rebels.
who goes through your beer cans? the company? Or the rebels?
Let me interview you after Christmas.
What about porn and bacon?
