It's me, Michael Janes*

[11:52:59 AM] Michael Janes: I have to drive an hour and a half to get liquor without a license, then transport it through Sharjah (the "dry" emirate), with the risk of being pulled over by the cops or run down by the Baracuda Bandits, who hit your car with theirs then threaten to call the cops on you unless you pay them off.

There are also at least 22 streets named 53rd street
[12:19:05 PM] Luke Quinton: hhaha
[12:19:08 PM] Luke Quinton: this is a lie
[12:19:35 PM] Michael Janes: Ok, well I counted four, but there's definitely more
[12:20:19 PM] Michael Janes: All the streets except the 15-20 main ones, are numbered, the numbers don't go higher than 70, and there are hundreds of them.

So many regrets...

I now realize that while I wasted a few years of my childhood enjoying his "music", this is what he sounded like to the rest of you.

I felt this admission could only be done on the original huddle.

A moving tribute to voice-actor Lorenzo Music

I've been researching the life and career of Lorenzo Music, the original voice of Garfield. I came across a moving tribute to him. Oddly, it is clips of his characters... but no voice. Two people commented on it. Altogether, the whole thing reminds me of Janes's relationship with Donald.

Zoidberg news.

As requested from certain fellows, here's the link to Billy West's interview on Fresh Air. You may be aware that he is the voice of Fry, Branagan, and Zoidberg. You may not know that he is also the voice of ... http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=128490848

Found: The Kwisatz Hederach

Recently discovered by TLC is the Kwisatz Hederach: Liam Hoekstra, world's strongest toddler.

As prophesied by Frank Herbert, young Liam represents a "shortening of the way". Among his abilities is chin-ups, first accomplished at age ONE!!

In other news, Jill, Melanie, me and the Real Quinton were skiing in Pennsylvania. Good times!

Suprise freakout

This guy's got the same name as a Hungarian philosopher, which is how I found him-- but now I've found out about him, he will occupy a huge amount of my attention.

Some sort of fast/slow-motion Hugarian Chaplin. The ending is a big surprise. A little like the ending of No Country for Old Men, it fills you with unease.
