Kaneyezie did it again

Not that I could be accused of too little a presence on this find blog, BUT I take my duties seriously, and so, philbert, here's my australian update. Everybody sip on your orange pekoe tetley and enjoy...

This har's a picto of cy twombly's sculpture about thermopylae, a shoutout to that other blog. In other news, my excellent cousin andrew formerly living in auckland has taken us up on the offer to stay here as our second (after melanie slater) houseguest. who will be next? YOU? well, whoever it is has some extremely high standards to surmount: andrew's gift of appreciation for taking him into our tiny sub-home is not merely a hotel room in sydney, not even JUST two tickets to see "irish rockers" you-too, but, also, and in addition, the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Kaneyezie, that's right, "chi-city mc" kanye west. very strangely, kanye is opening for said irish rockers. why? just because he appeals to white people doesnt mean he doesnt appeal to other colored people! so why is he opening a concert only white people are likely to attend? well, maybe said irish-rockers have a broader fan base than i thought. it's not like they're the cranberries! is it?!! anyhoo, this is indeed excellent news, since i will have to miss the jay-z show that's coming here in a few weeks due to the extravagant cost, so now it's all good.

in other news, im still in the swing of asking, wanna frank? do YOU wanna frank? jill's almost done her course, now she needs a visa. australia is land of many contradictions: for example, the sky's always yellow whether its rain or shine. more truthfully, cockatoos are a daily sight. there are joined by the diminutive parakeet as the winged joybringers of my toilsome day. they lift me up as josh grobin would say.

what else about this freaky place? the departed came out a few days ago and we wolfed it down with an extra serving of popcorn, in grand cherry-chewing nicholsonian manner. (i suppose that's more of a transnational phenomenon). we've also resigned ourselves to staying here for christmas, part of jill's concerted grinchian efforts (isnt it???). Cory knows how i deal with that.

i think i've said enough:

"demand me nothing, what you know you know,
from this time forth i never will speak word." as old man iago says..... who can deal with that?

I can laugh for hours thinking of you asking people if they wanna frank. Do you work with anyone or is it a solo job. I can't believe you're not coming home for christmas, fucking Australia. Kanye and U2, makes sense to me. He also opened for the Stones in Halifax. Fucking Halifax.

yeah i know, im very depressed about not coming home, especially since christmas is literally the bomb track/ most wonderful time of the year. ARH!! well, this year will mark the last christmas i miss, two is enough for me. bigger and better starting 07.

not only am i not working alone, im one of ten people in a space the size of a large cupboard. to move from serving (screaming at) customers to making the ol frank requires at least three people to move out of your way, fillin up the vaccuum you leave as you fill the vaccuum they leave. it is a very tight squeeze....

i hate halifax all the more--actually i couldnt hate it more, so the same extremely high level remains....

it probably has something to do with bono's bid to oust ban ki-moon. i'm all for it since it will likely mean a solid portfolio for kanye.

Plugs in his ears- all i needed to know.

Casa Grande- we didn't sell the business

Just the original location- thus the sadness. Quintana's/Arriba's goes on strong. NOt sure what they're doing at 108 Duckworth. I suspect some coffee shop/ condo, but who knows. Some british guy, supposedly bought it up.

the answer key probably got discombobulated by the excess question marks. if there was another 20 plus post, it would have been another one o mine: that's because im the master of weblogging.
