Yule Goat 2009

Or is it 2010? I can't remember which year we end up going with...

At ay rate, last year was the best year yet. And the flautas were a nice addition. Hopefully we can have something as equally as fun this year. Any suggestions should be made here. I guess ultimately it's up to Luke and his family.

I'm mainly making this post so that I don't have to see that last post every time I check the Huddle. Thanks Janes, really appreciate it.

All's well in Albania. I still don't know if I'm going to make it home for the big day, so just keeping my fingers crossed at this point. I did get to witness the slaughter of a sheep the other day. I won't post any of the numerous pictures I have, but if anyone's interested in seeing some gory goodness, I'll be sure to share it with you. And for the truly sick amongst you, I also have a video.

As you were.

DISASTER!

Summary of Title: Disaster!

For those of you who haven't read the title or first line of this post, there's been a disaster!! The disaster is as follows: (move eyes down to the next line)

Disaster: The 2008 Yule Goat burnt down at Luke's house.

Conclusion: Like the worthless Swedish villagers we imitate, we failed to protect our goat. As a point of fact, we actively incited the fire through the ignition of an incendiary material: fatty oils skimmed off the quintanas's tortilla vats (or some such).

Further comments: We did a bonny job of building a well-endowed snow man. "Drop your pants quinton!" (see tab)
