From Toolie to ... where?
Yo, drop your pants Quinton and listen up! Just back from crazed Bukkak' times in Toronto.
Back when we were in Australia, the best we could hope for was to be labelled "toolie":
"Popular Schoolies venues are often attended by people well past school age, labelled by the media as toolies. The word is derived from the notation "too old for Schoolies" and also the slang expression "tool", which is synonymous with "wanker." Toolies are associated with the targeting of drunk teenagers for sex, and are also frequently involved in any disturbances that take place during the celebrations. Because of this, toolies are a major topic of media scrutiny during Schoolies week. Toolies also refers to early school leavers who are in apprenticeship training but join in the Schoolies celebrations."
But not in the States, where I am legitimately on Spring Break! Spring Break is the best. It's better than that time when Janes lived with the divrocee in Corner Brook. Almost as good as Matthew's night of unfulfilled butt-touching. Not as good as watching the Watchmen though.
I tell you, watching the Watchmen was great! Not sure how they roll back home, but in Toronto the Watchmen was on imax; the food was whoppers with cheese and POUTINE!!
But, in other news, we're moving! But I'll let Jill fill everyone in!
And to conclude, a little Frank and Ernest:

The Late Show with Tracy Morgan
Tonight! The Late Show season premiere kicks off with a kick in the kicker: You got your Tracy Morgan with straight laffs the whole way through; you got your Shawn Johnson, multi-Olympic-medallist; and you got your fellow Huddlers, T-Criz and Jill, sitting in the 3rd row, right behind the band!
Yes, that's right, for the past week we've been killing time hanging out with Jill's sister and her gf Lauren here in New Jersey, as well as having just spent the weekend at her uncle's house in Manhatten. Walking past the Ed Sulivan theatre, we decided to try for tickets. There were two showings today-- today's, and Friday's apparently. Anyway, we went to the first one, which is apparently the season premiere. We left our names yesterday, and then got the call over breakfast today.
It was the best experience of Jill's life and I liked it a lot as well. Paul is the best, as is Alan and Dave himself. They're all the best!
So watch it tonight and you may catch sight of a Sobey's shirt-wearing chum, T-Crizz.
So exciting!!
(We'll be in New Haven THIS wednesday, as our house had to get a new hot water tank put in, giving rise to a week delay.)

Galactus: Earth Sucker!
Hello Chums!
Came across this article about a taser party:

This is an unusual party, to say the least. There's food, but no alcohol, and much of the time is spent listening to disturbing statistics.
The lone male party guest is Kevin Sailor, an off-duty police officer, brought in to demonstrate how a Taser works.
Like many a partygoer who doesn't really know anyone, he spends much of the time on his own, slightly awkwardly standing with his (soft) drink. But he holds court later, when explaining the device and how best to use it.
He's a firm believer that Tasers are not permanently harmful - but civil liberties groups voice concerns over this.
Also, a story about a sink hole ....

.... turned my mind to one Galactus, earth(-sized) sucker.

After the recent and quite unexpected upswell of interest in the life, times (--dare I say, life-times?!) and good deeds of Bea Arthur, I feel it incumbent upon myself to provide you pachucos with more and greater subjects of biographical curiosity. None is greater than Galan of Taa-- Devourer of Worlds-- GALACTUS!!

Compliments and jocular responses are appreciated-- Bea Arthur, eat your fucking heart out!
Ps. I've yet to resurrect the lovable "I'm Lostie" character, but stay tuned... (Who's still watching the Lost by the way??)

Forget the next dozen!
Hey Chums,
Oh Yes, Fine Young Cannibals never disappeared from the sonic mindscape of the world's true cognoscenti; their sick beats have been brewing in the hinterland of Swedish reggae. So, here's four versions of a peculiar song you might also become partly obsessed with. Let's compare and contrast camera work; production quality; degrees of oddness (but ONE of these is not like the others...):

Heterosexual life petners
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/bradford/7204543.stm
I was dismayed to learn of the strife in the Prince homestead. It turns out, while "being walked" by his hetersexual life partner (so we thought! --they are in fact petners) Cocobutter, Jbird's own father prevented them from boarding the ol' metrobus. Their outrage has led them to lash out at Metrobus:
"The black-clad couple said they had been told to leave one bus and prevented from boarding another. The bus firm said safety came first, but it was investigating the complaint. Mr Clark(e?) told BBC Look North: "We're used to strange looks, we're used to comments. But we didn't expect it from someone like that. They're providing a public service. We had our bus passes, we did everything that you are supposed to do to get on a bus."
"Our primary concern is passenger safety and while the couple are very welcome to travel on our buses, we are asking that Miss Prince remove her dog lead before boarding the bus. It could be dangerous for the couple and other passengers if a driver had to brake sharply while Miss Maltby was wearing the lead."
Miss Prince said she came up with the idea to wear a dog lead, and said previous boyfriends had called her a "weirdo" when she suggested it.
The couple said they "loved each other to pieces" and the use of the lead was a "sign of trust".
Mr Clark(e) said: "She's very animal like, she's kind of like a pet, as well as a partner."
He said he "does everything" for his girlfriend, including laying out clothes for her, feeding her and cleaning their house.
He said: "You wouldn't expect your cat or dog to do the washing up or cleaning round the house."
Hm. Not sure what to think of that. I guess I feel bad for you guys...

dispatches from Christmas travelling
hey folks, a hearty hello from gene's coffee shop in new York city (live blogging 4 EVA). Landed last night leaving behind the warm bosom of Austin for the frigid metal and cocrete of the city. It started to snow today but quickly dilapidated in a torrent of soul drenching rain... I am finding out why southerners always return from the northeast complaining incessantly about the weather.
Oh- i almost forgot the real reason for l- blogging: celeb sightings. Seen so far: the cooking guy from queer eye for the straight guy, reading in the austin airport. 2: just saw laura linney in fao schwarz. My report? I like the queer eye guy better in iron chef america and laura linney is quite petite in person, even with her aggressively handsome euro boyfriend.
I am out of here tomorrow eve. Looking forward to starting the holy month in earnest and to see you jokers. Tomorrow i will conclude my shopping, hopefully without rain. P.s whats people reading for Christmas? For some undetermined reason I am thinking about getting on some Herman Melville. Yeah I don't know why that is.
Cory, how much will you love me when you see me in person? Let me make this clear: I expect a so- called "man hug", damnit.
